The International Symposium of Contemporary Art is a precursor.Over the years since 1982, the Symposium has shaped a distinctive form of cultural mediation, due to the 450 or so artists who have participated. This is a unique place and a privileged time where, during four weeks, artists from all disciplines interact with the public. Again, this year a group of artists joining the Symposium presents a panorama of contemporary art tendencies. We invite you to come and meet them and take part in the 36th Symposium's numerous activities – an essential meeting place for the country's emerging artists.
